There are just seven rooms set in the attic of this historic building, all decorated with soft, neutral fabrics. Rooms have DVD players, CD players, bathrobes espresso machines. Slanted ceilings give the rooms rustic charm. The hotel is chiefly known for its restaurants, which are also open to non residents. The brasserie offers relaxed meals with a Mediterranean influence, and al fresco dining in summer on the broad terrace overlooking rolling lawns and the lake. The fine dining restaurant boasts two Michelin stars, and is set in an impressive Art Deco setting, with crisp white linen and a seasonal French menu accompanied by a a seasonal French menu accompanied by a fine wine list. The small lounge offers drinks and quality cigars. The hotel is a 25 minute drive from Geneva Airport, and easily reached by train from the airport.

Driving directions: From Geneva Airport, take the A1 and continue for seven kilometers until the Geneve Centre sign. Follow the road into the center, and by the lake turn left onto Quai Gustave Ador, which follows the south west shore of the lake.
